Personal development is a lifelong journey, but you don’t need hours to start improving yourself.

If you’re familiar with the two-minute rule, you know that any big goal can be broken down into smaller tasks.

Some of these small tasks take less than 2 minutes but can get you moving toward your larger goals.

1. Drink More Water

This one’s simple: drink more water.

A glass of water might seem like the smallest step toward self-improvement, but it’s still a step forward.

Many of us neglect the recommendation to drink 8 glasses a day, even though our bodies need it to maintain functions and keep us healthy.

Dehydration can lead to headaches, fatigue, and skin problems. I keep a full glass of water near my desk at all times and drink throughout the day.

Sure, you’ll visit the bathroom more often, but the boost in productivity and energy is worth it!

2. Eat Whole Foods

The fewer the ingredients, the better the food.

Swap out processed meals for whole foods like fruits, vegetables, eggs, and nuts. You’ll have more energy and feel better.
